Sam Ashe Arnold is a Canadian actor known for playing Zed Novak in the Netflix original comedy series Best. Worst. Weekend. Ever. (2018) and Phoenix Wilder in Richard Boddington's An Elephant's Journey (2017).

Following a year of classes at The Ottawa Children's Theatre, Sam was signed by AMTI, a talent agency based in Toronto and Ottawa.

He booked two national commercials and made the quick jump to film when local filmmaker, Brett Kelly, tagged him for A Tale of the Bonesetter (2015) (2015).

Soon after, he was cast in the multi-award-winning short, Winter Hymns (2015) (2015). A string of lead and supporting roles in film and television projects followed, including Adventure Club (2017) (2016), High-Rise Rescue (2017) (2017),and Creeped Out: Marti (2017) (2017).

In 2017, Sam spent a combined 20 weeks on film sets far from home - including Johannesburg and Bela Bela in South Africa for An Elephant's Journey (2017), Toronto and Wawa for Brotherhood (2019), and Los Angeles for Best.

Ever. (2018) He balances his professional acting schedule with his commitment as a drama student in the renowned Arts Program at Ottawa's Canterbury High School.

Sam is a strong supporter of Canadian independent film and has enjoyed working with several emerging filmmakers, including Meryam Joobeur (Born in the Maelstrom (2017)), Bastien Alexander (How Tommy Lemenchick Became a Grade 7 Legend (2018)), and Joy Webster (Game (2017)).
